According to a study, the projected growth of Indian Print Media is likely to be averaging 6.7 per cent compounded annually during the next five years. This is fuelled by 26 per cent foreign direct investment allowed in print media in 2002 and the growing potential market size in India. With only around 30% of all households in the country speaking Hindi and literacy levels in the State steadily increasing, the regional print media holds out enormous potential.
